Scotland Hikes

Highlands, Lowlands, Glens and Lochs

Walking and Hiking Tours through Scotland

England’s northerly neighbor, Scotland seems a wild country of surprisingly varied and endlessly enchanting landscape. Vast lochs, green glens, heather cloaked moorlands and rising Highland hills, have conspired to produce castles and kilts, bagpipes and brogues, poets and outlaws, and miles upon miles of byways and old drovers’ roads well worth traveling on foot.

A gentler landscape in some respects and not quite as high as the Alps, Scotland still offers equally inspiring walks. Our West Highland Way trip traces the length of legendary Loch Lomond, and offers the opportunity to bag the most southerly of the Munros, Ben Lomond, before crossing the Black Mount on the way to foot of Ben Nevis, Britain’s highest mountain. Our Niel Gow’s Scotland is a unique cultural walk that offers the opportunity to participate in country walks and specially arranged musical events. There are few better ways to connect with this wild and romantic country.
