Deposits for our self-guided trips are non-refundable. Before making a deposit for a self-guided trip you will first need a finalized itinerary with dates and costs. If you are not familiar with booking a self-guided trip through us, please refer to our page on Self-Guided Trips which outlines the general process and more specific Terms and Conditions.
A deposit of $500 along with your completed registration confirms your acceptance of your finalized self-guided itinerary, dates and costs. For an immediate confirmation, or if you would prefer to provide your credit card details over the phone, please call us at 1-888-845-5781.
The balance is due 60 days prior to your trip start. When reserving less than 60 days prior to the trip start, full payment is due. We accept MasterCard, VISA and AMEX.
As confirmation of receipt of your deposit and registration, we will send you an invoice for final payment and additional information including release agreement form, medical information form, travel information, packing list and other information that will help you plan for your trip.
Upon receipt of final payment, you will receive a packet containing accommodation vouchers, highlighted route maps, detail trailnotes, and other supporting information.
Should you find it necessary to cancel, a cancellation fee will apply based on the date we receive written notice:
- 60-45 days prior to departure: 50% of land costs
- Less than 45 days or failure to show: 100% of land costs
- Some of our self-guided trips have payment schedules and cancellation fees that are more stringent. These exceptions are clearly indicated in the finalized itineraries.
